David Hernandez is Chief Creative Officer at Allstate where he is charged with leveraging creativity, branding, design, and user experience to strengthen the brand and grow the business. Prior to joining Allstate in 2019, Hernandez was Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy& Mather, where he was part of the leadership team that elevated Ogilvy Chicago to one of the world’s most highly awarded creative shops. Previously, he served as Chief Creative Officer and Managing Director at Leapnet, where he helped guide the firm’s growth as it transformed from a creative boutique - The Leap Partnership - into an integrated digital marketing communications firm. Hernandez was also the founder of The Royal Order of Experience Design where he focused on bringing high-end brands to life online.

As an advocate for historic preservation, David is proud to serve on the board of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, with a mission to engage, educate and inspire the public through interpretation of Wright’s design legacy and preservation of his original sites for future generations. He and his wife Tereasa Surratt are also the owners and stewards of the historic Camp Wandawega, recognized on The National Register of Historic Places.
