Syed joined McCann Health in 2020. With a
background in medical education and clinical
research, he leans on his experiences to deliver
effective communication of accurate and scientific
knowledge to guide strategic decisions for HCP
and DTC brands. Syed has experience with renal
and cardiometabolic advertising and is often
called upon to deliver “Medical 101” sessions to
inform colleagues about disease processes,
therapeutics, etc.
Prior to McCann Health, Syed served as the Content
Lead and Chief Medical Student Advisor for
international markets at AMBOSS Medical.
Syed has been affiliated with clinical research at
Yale University School of Medicine for the past
decade, where he has multiple publications with a
special focus on psychiatry and maternal health.
In his spare time, Syed is passionate about giving
back to the community, both in the United States
and abroad. He volunteers with an international
community of medical professionals to deliver free
health care to vulnerable populations. Attempting to
relive his glory days of high school athletics, Syed
often spends his weekends on the tennis and
basketball courts.
