Robin Landa is a Distinguished Professor in the Michael Graves College, Kean University. She has written over twenty books about advertising, graphic design, branding, personal branding, creativity, and drawing, including Advertising by Design, 4th ed., Graphic Design Solutions, 6th ed., and Nimble: Thinking Creatively in The Digital Age. She has won numerous awards for her design, writing, and research, including awards from the National Society of Arts and Letters and the National League of Pen Women. She received the 2015 Human Rights Educator award, 2016 Kean Presidential Excellence award for research, 2013 Teacher of the Year, and the Carnegie Foundation lists her among the great teachers of our time.

Sage published her essays about advertising and graphic design in The SAGE International Encyclopedia of Mass Media and Society. Crack the Spine has published several short stories by Robin and the editor nominated her short story, “Just Desserts,” for Best of the Net. Recently, Robin presented on the subject of personal branding at Columbia University. Robin is a co-chair of Design Incubation, a communication design research organization.
