As an advocate and supporter of Philippine and Asian creativity and its talents, Angel Guerrero, found her voice in adobo magazine which she founded in 2006 after a 15-year career in a multinational advertising agency handling blue chip global clients as well as local brands.
Under Angel’s leadership, adobo magazine, has become the Philippines’ and one of Asia’s most influential and indispensable publications on advertising, marketing, brand communications, media, design as the word on creativity.
In 2016, Angel was conferred the first-ever Asia-Pacific Tambuli Crimson Award as an eminent industry leader in marketing communication for her contribution to the advancement while creating positive change, “in making adobo magazine a major catalyst in bringing Philippine advertising and the Filipino creativity into the regional and global stage”. In 2017, at the AD STARS International Awards in Busan, Korea, she was given the AD STARS International Lifetime Achievement Award.
