CREATIVE UNCONFERENCE

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL LIKELY BE RESCHEDULED FOR THE FALL

What Is The Creative UnConference?

Filled with creative dialogue and innovative conversations with the best and brightest minds in the industry, this unique day-long event provides you with an invaluable opportunity to:

  • Build new collaborative networks and partnerships across creative industries and disciplines
  • Learn something new from others in creative fields
  • Find answers to the questions that matter to you the most
  • Consider business issues related to creative advertising, digital marketing, social media, and other fields.
  • Be exposed to new ideas for making and keeping your business relevant

Unlike traditional conferences, the flexible, participant-driven format favors discussion, debate and interactive participation on emerging trends, the latest issues and new projects.

How Does It Work?

It's simple. Several weeks before the conference starts, we will be sending out a form to all of the registered attendees asking who wants to lead a session and what their topic is. Then we’ll ask the attendees to vote for their favorites. The top ones get speaking slots. And then you decide what you want to participate in.

You build the day's agenda around your interests, needs and areas of expertise, with the interactive participation driving the sessions. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and space is reserved for simultaneous sessions to be held throughout the day. No prep or formal presentations are required. Notes are taken at each session, and a book of all the discussions will be compiled. So those sessions you can't make, you won't completely miss.

What Will Be Talked About?

The prompt for the Creative unConference is:

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

In the last year, everything has changed. As we emerge from COVID-19, the question remains: Where do we go from here? What does the future hold for all types of businesses both externally and internally?

Anyone can lead a session or you can simply join the conversation. Start a discussion about how you pivoted. Lead a session on what your back to the office model looks like. It’s up to you. The agenda is created by you. It's about creative dialogue and conversation. Not talking heads.

How Do You Submit A Session?

First you'll need to register to attend. Then when you log into the site on the unConference page you'll see the SUBMIT A SESSION button. You'll also find a link in the registration confirmation email that will take you to the form.

After you submit your session we'll contact you at least a week before the conference starts to let you know whether you've been selected to speak. Sessions are primarily discussion-based so you can either come with a presentation or without one, it's totally up to you. The casual nature of it is where the magic happens—think of it more like a meeting rather than a seminar where all of the participants contribute to the discussion.

Who Should Attend?

We bring together a diverse mix of professionals from traditional and interactive agencies, clients from a broad range of industries, producers from digital and entertainment media, and other related creative fields. Mix and mingle with the best and the brightest in their respective disciplines and roles—from creative, strategy and innovation directors, chief marketing officers, art directors, copywriters and media planners to digital artists, futurists, social media geeks and techies and everyone in between.

If you're eager to meet and speak to a diverse group of industry professionals as well as learn and share ideas, the Creative unConference is for you.

No BS. No hype. Just smart people talking.
